Hauraki Coromandel Business Awards 2024
We were honored to receive both the Community Contribution Award and the People's Choice Award at the Hauraki Thames Coromandel Business Awards on October 23, 2024.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted for us, to our amazing crew, and congratulations to all the other category winners!
The judges described Dive Zone Whitianga as "more than just a business; it is a community hub where everyone who passes through is treated like family." They noted our commitment to sponsorships, supporting school groups, providing work experience for young people, and donating time, equipment, food, and money, as well as organizing marine clean-ups and supporting our staff through the winter months.
Community was a significant topic of discussion during the awards night, focusing on how businesses contribute to the development and nurturing of strong communities. We take great pride in the community we have built and are honored to be recognized for it by both the judges and our community.
