We are blessed here on the Coromandel Peninsula with arguably the best diving in NZ, from shore, from boat, or from kayak, no matter what day of the year, there is always good diving conditions, prolific fish life and endless dive sites for the beginner and the advanced. We believe this is the best location in New Zealand to come and learn to dive.
Freediving is about inward power, discipline and control. if you've always wanted to enter the Underworld quietly, on your own terms, staying as long as the breath allows, then Freediving is for you. Taking the PADI Freediver course is your first step towards discovering why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath the waves. Dive Zone Whitianga is one of New Zealand's first PADI Freediving Centres and we are fully outdoorsmark adventure safety audit certified for Freediving.
We offer you the knowledge and skills to make the dream of exploring "the silent world" a reality!
